I'd argue that a bit Clint. There are antioxidants in oil like in food. They
have a specific shelf life. Changing oil every 3 thousand miles probably
negates any problems, but I would like to know! Thanks Clint!

You worry about stuff too much,Dan. Motor oil isn't like fine wine. <g>
FWIW,oil is tested. Look on the label and it will tell you the spec.
However,the small synthetic companies often don't submit theirs for testing
because of the high cost of doing so.
Oil in a sealed container will probably outlive you.
