[Chevelle-list] oil pan removal

ok guys, i knew i needed to remove motor mounts and jack up motor to replace 
oil pan, but my bell housing hits firewall before removal.  i  have a 67 el 
camino with 350 and 4 speed, i guess its a given i need to remove motor 
completely to change pan, huh? im only stating the obvious but any 
pointers?im going down many rabbit holes right now any instructions would be 
helpful. thanks, tim mcguire
