Title: Re: [Chevelle-list] 66 Brake Drums
I have several sets... yours for the price of shipping.  You may want to check out local resources, however, as the weight could make the shipping cost prohibitive. If I recall correctly, the rear drums are 2" wide x 9.5" diameter with a 4.75" bolt circle, and almost any GM intermediate up through the late 80's used the same spec.  So finding drums that interchange should be no problem, unless you're after the "correct" ones for your application.  In fact, I believe there are even some Buick G-body applications that used aluminum drums (w/iron liner) that will yield a slight unsprung weight savings, and you might be able to luck up on in a salvage yard.  If you want to check shipping on the drums, estimated weight is 25lbs for the pair; I'm in zip code 37172.

If my memory is correct you should have 2" wide drums on the rear and 2.5" wide drums on the front.  I think they will slide on however.  Been a while sine I had drums on the front.

Is the front drums the same as the back drums on a 66? I need drums for the back brakes, and I don't need the set up front.

Thanks.
