Hi guys, Anybody know what the procedure is for lifting the body off the frame? I just want to lift it high enough to swap out the body mounts and get a welder into a couple of places, and paint it with Corroseal and some kind of top coat. The engine, transmission, driveshaft, fuel tank, and exhaust are all out, and the whole nose is off. What else would I need to take out or disconnect aside from the body mounts? Also, is there a chart anywhere that shows the locations of the body mounts in a 1970 Malibu coupe?
If anybody knows of a good deal on a solid frame that I wouldn't have to pay a fortune to transport (i.e. not far from southern NJ), I'd consider that too. Thanks, John Nasta
