Using two common reference points measurements show 148.62-inches for the wagon/pickup and 145.35-inches for sedan/coupe/convertible - a difference of 3.27-inches. All of it is behind the rear end. I don't what other physical difference there is in the 64/67 frames but I'm sure someone here does. Can anyone put me in contact with someone that has swapped a El Camino chassis under a 2 Dr Hardtop. I have a 1965 El Camino chassis and would like to start a ground up rebuild of my 67 Chevelle. I understand the El Camino chassis is stronger but also a little longer and will need to be cut. I would greatly appreciate some pointers before under taking this project. Thanks, Tom
