And that speaks volumes about the individual IF he did get the e-mails.

If I only owned one book it would be the factory assembly manual.  But there's really no reason not to own lots of books, like the factory chassis service and overhaul manuals, the Fisher body manual, and a Chilton's or Haynes manual.  You should also join and participate in Team Chevelle www.chevelles.com ,there is more good info on that site and Dale's www.chevellestuff.com site than in any book.

I have a bit of a problem with Paul Herd, the author of the SS Restoration Guide.  I contacted his publisher to get in touch with him about some info in the book.  The publisher will not give his personal email or phone #, but promised to forward my questions to him.  I have done this two times, and have yet to receive a response, and that was over a year ago.  My email was courteous and could have been easily answered, but I guess he doesn't care about his readers.

I guess I shouldn't be that harsh on Herd's book. There is some good info in the book, however there are a multitude of entries in that specific book that have been proven to be inaccurate.
