the one with the spacer was on a 67 ss CHEVELLE total height was the same as the stock springs spacer was on the axle the 66 ss IM working on now had the pigtail one the bottom and full open at the top, my 67 ss has pigtail top and bottom, widest tire i could get under mine back in the hay days was a 29 tall 10.5 wide M/T drag slick with corvette steel wheels. ( this is why i said it looks like they used what was left over from the night before. IM sure there r stranger things this is just what i have run into.) thanks for the reply, Perry </HTML>
