In that light I have another question. I had a TH350 and stuck in a Saginaw 4 speed behind the little 307. It seems the TH350 had some kind of adapter on it and will not fit on the Saginaw. It looks like the speedo cable should hook up to the transmission directyly. Of course, that is if I can thread it thru the shifter linkage. Any thoughts or ideas??? Jim 72 chevelle
