Aluminum is tricky to chrome in and of itself, and having all the recesses that a wheel does, would make it even more difficult.
That being said, with proper prep and expertise, a very nice result can be obtained. But with that prep and expertise comes a price tag which might just make rechroming an un-economical choice. If you do decide to get them done, you cannot go wrong with the quality of the work that comes out of Advanced Plating in Nashville TN. Good luck.
