I don't think that the flex plate & balancer will work.   Its been a
while, but isn't the 383 the result of using a small block 400 crank in a
350 block?    If so, the 400 was externally balanced & used a different
balancer & flexplate.   But its been many years since I looked at a 383 and
the GM 383 might be using new parts that were not available back then.
I'd call a vendor, Scoggins Dickey comes to mind www.sdpc2000.com  and ask
specifically.  Or wait for the correct answer from someone else on the list.
The distributoe will defineitely work.
