[Chevelle-list] spindles or springs

I  am looking for suggestions/advice on lowering the front end of my "72" 
chevelle. origonally a small block car, I swaped in a big block and liked the 
stance with the small block springs but didnt like when the header flanges 
bottomed out. I installed bbc springs and now I think the front is to high. I 
can lower it via springs or spindles and am looking for pro's and con's for
