$650 to do all that???  That's a tad ridiculous.  Converting a Mopar to
an electronic ignition isn't as easy as doing a GM car.  You have to get
a new engine harness for it for specifically for an electronic ignition
which Year One has.  That's who I got it from for my Charger.  The
distributor is easy...just get one for a 1970 Dodge Charger.  You also
need the electronic control box, voltage regulator, and ballast resistor
for a 1970 Charger also.

Thanks guys. I will look into it. He made it to a service station  
today and they determined that it was the coil, replaced that and also  
replaced his cap, rotor, wires and a bunch of other routine stuff and  
charged him $650. Car is apparently fine again. I had advised him to  
change to HEI when I saw how hard it was to find a place that had the  
points.
