Dale, The last 3 letters are IHA not 1. Thats where im getting messed up, the block casting 3858180 indicates a 327 and the intake is what you said. When i looked the heads up it said 283 and 327 and the crank is a 327 crank. The owner had a 283 he was having problems with. So after while the dealer installed a new engine. Thats the story i got. Heads show to be 64-65 283 and crank as 62-65 327. Looks like a hodgepodge of small-block parts. A "replacement" motor? I guess if one considers a pieced together engine a replacement, then it would be. I can't find any info on the CFM. The Holley that came on the L79 350HP was 585 so I'm sure it wouldn't be any more than that. I found a discussion thread where a guy flow tested them and said they were 582 but take that for what it is worth.
