You mentioned he does relieve himself outside. but will look for a place inside as well. I am sorry I forgot, but didn't you say you also had another male? It could be that you simply have a marking problem. Male dogs trying to show dominance and ownership of an area by marking it....in which case, it has absolutely nothing to do with the need to use the bathroom. First thing you may want to try is to clean all possibly marked area's with a good enzyme that is made to get rid of the odor (you may not be able to smell it, but the dogs can) and try to start fresh...prevent as much marking as possible and emmediately clean any marked area you do find, after a while they may began to accept "joint ownership" of the area and stop marking it.
