[Chihuahuas] scary time

Set up till 3 am last night with my mom. Two of her chis started going into seizures. Swelled up, had difficulty breathing, ect. We didn't know what was wrong. The little boy finally started doing better after about 45 minutes, but the girl was bad for over 3 hours. Finally, she threw up and I bet there was at least a half gallon. No wonder she was swollen!! Turned out they had gotten some scraps that had been thrown out for bigger dogs and they ate more than they could handle...literally! Once she threw all that crap up, she started doing better. Still a little weak today after all the trauma, but I think they will be ok. What a scary close call!!   Also, on my way to pick up a new chi tomorrow. A long haired little girl. Can't wait!   Marsha   " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today! " YAHOO!
