If I asked this before - just tell me I'm being forgetful again. I have been participating in discussions about Chihuahua's and also about Rat Terriers and American Hairless Terriers (AHT). I asked about the Ratties and the AHT's behavior around pets like rabbits etc. I'm glad I asked!
So, now I"m asking about your experience with your Chi's and other pets - any type of pets. For instance, I love rabbits. My friend's 70-something father's very large chihuahua named Roo simply adores the father's pet rabbit. She (Roo) decided that it belonged to her mostly, but that she'd share it with the two humans of the house. However, she jealously guards her rabbit (bigger than a whale this rabbit) from all other small dogs in the house. None of them have the nerve to cross Roo to get at that bun-bun. Is that a Chi thing - Roo's behavior with that bunny? Also - is it okay to keep large dogs and larger chihuahuas in the same house? What are your experiences? I like big and little dogs - but I have never tried mixing them in the same house. This is for future reference for me - when I get my own house. Hope you don't mind. Thank you!!
