I'm just wondering what happened to the diet the vet prescribed when this pup was sent home?  (I agree with what was posted on how this very important topic is impossible to back track on because there are so many posts after it and in it where the subject wasn't changed)  I thought Sparky was sent home on a couple days of A/D followed by a specific brand/type of canned dog food.   What the vet prescribed is what Sparky should be eating.  Trying out different foods on his worn out little system just doesn't make sense.  If Sparky won't eat what your vet prescribed you either spend all day dabbing it on his mouth so he licks it off or you call your vet for another vet approved diet for Sparky's circumstances.  If you work or something, Sam, you need to find a friend or family member that will nurse and feed Sparky during this critical time when you can't katie " Lets talk about our wonderful little friends!
