old greece from Mcdonalds, and all those other fast food places, they spray the dog food with it to intice the dogs to eat it.  I haven't read that exact thing, but it makes sense.  Here is an excerpt from the flint river ranch  website (it would be my dog food of choice IF my dog would eat it.  Dang it.)
"There is no sprayed on coating or tough exterior to break through-the nutrition is readily available for the dog's body to use."

Flint River Ranch is twice oven baked which makes the food extra good for absorbing nutrients, etc.  Here is the web site:  www.frrco.com   If anyone checks out the site and decides to order something, they have treats, too, Sandi in the group is involved with a rescue where if you use the number 120844 on the order form the rescue will get $$$$.

Since I cannot get my chi to eat a good hard dog food no matter what I try!!...I am really going to move toward the RAW diet with her I think.  It just seems like such a natural diet for a dog.
