Katie,
Please think long and hard about raw food. Now carrots or potatoes or
celery or grapes are fine. But please, have you researched eating raw
meat? Every single thing that a human can get from eating raw or
unprocessed meat a dog or cat can get too. And with bird flu and the
problem with eggs, I'd be darn careful. Do your homework and I do
mean to look at more then just the sites that says how wonderful it
it, look at some of the sites that also tell the pit falls of this
practice.

It's a fad that comes and goes every few years. But I have yet to meet
a Vet that will recommend raw meat, especially beef or chicken for any
animal.

Why not look into all the homemade cooked dog food receipts before
putting your Chi's health on the line. As long as good vitamins and
minerals and all that are added or given to the dog daily most home
made dog food is great. Commercial dog foods didn't even get popular
until the 60's, before that everyone cooked for their dogs.
