You do have some valid points, and I think that at the end of the day,
we make thechoices for our pets that feel the best for ourselves. 
I have switched to te raw diet, and i make it myself. I buy my
ingredients from the butcher, and I also add gapefruit seed extract to
the meat after I have washed it to kill bacteria. aslo, before  I
serve the food, I pour boiling hot water over it to activate the
'digesting' process. So far so good, but only time will tell for sure.
