Chicken bones are very dangerous cooked or raw. So are other bones, but CHicken is the worst.

I do not feed any table scraps to my chis but my outside dogs get all the left overs. HOWEVER, on the bone topic, since a lot of people feed their chis chicken, I felt a need to point out that cooked chicken bones are very fragile and very likely to splinter, so if you feed chicken bones (don't know about beef, hog ect.) make sure they are NOT cooked. Chris...input on this? I certainly don't claim to be a food expert or even very knowledgeable, but even before the day when people were so picky about their dog's food, we were warned not to give dogs cooked chicken bones. > Marsha > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jen-CA > To: [email protected] > Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2006 2:14 PM > Subject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Re: feeding raw/bad breath > > > Only cooked bones.
