   This is why some people don't feel the CKC is legit. An unethical breeder could register any dog that resembles a chi, just by having a couple friends swear it is. (This is not to criticize those who use CKC, I have a couple of those as well, I am just saying this is the mind frame of those who appose CKC or prefer AKC).    Whereas, with the AKC, in order to register a dog, both it's parents must be registered as well. Of course, there is plenty of room for abuse here to.
