Hello everyone! My name is Evan and I'm a 24 year old female and the proud mommy of a 5 year old little girl, Madelyn and two long haired chihuahuas, Buster (about 14 months old) and Moo Moo (a year old.) Moo Moo has been in heat twice and we tried so hard to make sure she and Buster were kept apart but to no avail. She's pregnant and I have no idea how far along she is or what to do when she gives birth. I'm starting a new job at the end of the month so I don't have the income to take her to the vet, and after reading information on chihuahuas having babies I'm pretty frightened to tell you the truth. She's very young and almost half the size of the father, I'm afraid she won't be able to have these babies by herself but I can't afford to take her to the vet and have them do a c-section. Has anyone had a similar experience? I'm and EMT so I can deliver a human baby but when it comes to puppies I'm clueless! I love my little Moomie so much, she's curled up on my lap sleeping with her big tummy poking out right now. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to her. :(
