I believe the only way a dog (unless it is a service dog) can fly in cabin is if he/she fits in a carrier under the seat in front of you. The size of the carrier depends on the size of the plane (how much room is underneath the seat), but they are all pretty small. The airlines don't allow you to buy a seperate seat for your pet. So unless the pet is really small, it will have to go in cargo. We moved from the US to Germany and have been back to the states once since. She could use a pet transporting company rather than a commericial airline. ~Lacey
