Ever since Gordie went to the vet and was spayed, she
has not wanted to potty outside anymore. It is really getting
frustrating. I mean, I guess I should be happy that if she HAS to go
inside, at least she is using a potty pad, but I would really like for her
to go outside, and only use the pad in case of when I cant be here to take
her out, like she was doing before. Before, the pad would last a few
days, because she would go outside before I left for school, and then go
outside again when I got home. But now she refuses to go outside at
all, and I am going through 2 pads a day.
She has never been confined to a crate, so she
wouldn't know what I was putting her in there for if I started that
now. She has always had free roam of the house, and I really dont feel
comfortable leaving her in a crate while I am gone for several hours
anyway.
She is just now getting over the "please dont leave me
routine" since the vet, and the crying all day while I am gone like she used
to. I mean, she is doing really well on some
areas, but she has really backslidden on this one and I would like to get
her back to what it used to be. I know that once it starts getting
cold she isn't going to want to go out, and she also HATES walking on wet
grass, so I fear that winter time is going to break her from pottying
outside at all...
Help...
