Hi Elissa and welcome...
I have heard and seen that in chi's. My male chi is 11 months
old and is about 7 pounds. He was a rescue as well, so i had never
seen the parents of him. My female is timy...she is 2 pounds. I used
to work for a horrible breeder here in Michigan , she kept her chi's
that she bred in the salon that i worked at...and one of her clients
purchased a chi from her, he was about 10 pounds and the parents
were 2 and 3 pounds...lol. He was still a cutie pie. Congrats on the
new baby. Hope to see pics on here. Welcome to the chi group.
