Olaf is defiantly pooping on the rug........I try keeping him behind
the pen........dying inside from the crying but 2 hours later he
still ignores the pee pad and then proceeds to poop as soon as you
let him out........I really want him to learn to use the pad becuase
winter and snow is so close behind......
Okay if he is consistent and proceeds to poop as soon as you let him out, put him on a leash and as soon as you let him out, take him to a pee pad outside the pen.  Don't let him come off of the pad until he poops.  When he does poop, praise him like he just won the lottery.  Make a BIG deal about it.  If after 15 minutes he doesn't poop, then put him back in the pen.  Wait another 10 to 20 minutes and try it again.  If he goes in his pen, make it smaller.
