Oh, poor girl.
I've never known any animal that had cancer. I would guess, but don't know, the same things that do it to humans like smoke, stuff in the air, stuff in the food. ??

The vet put her on anti-biotics and steriods as a pre-op measure, and that shrunk the tumor slightly but 2 more tumors, the size of eggs, developed next to the big tumor, within a week. So I knew surgery was useless. The vet said he was 99% sure it was a bad, fast growing cancer. When she grew 2 more tumors, so fast, I knew he was right. So I did what I had to do. Does anyone know why cats and dogs get cancer these days? I am 56 yr old and I have had many, many cats and dogs and never before, the last few years, have I seen cats and dogs getting cancer like this. Just thinking out loud.
