IMO
The majority of dogs do not want to wear clothes, even though we want them to and think it's cute. Or maybe they need a little warmth in the winter to go outside or whatever.
And though some will 'agree' to wear clothes, many usually don't really like it, either.
As far as Dolly, how many hours can she stand there not moving? Do you pick her up and carry her around and play with her and stuff like that while she's wearing the sweater? Or put her in her bed and let her lay around for a while? I'm thinking it may be the same thing as folks who say their dogs don't like to wear a collar and/or leash. They can become used to them, though it may take a few days or so. And I believe in wearing a collar 24/7 with tags on it just in case they get out or something. (Although a small number of folks have debated leaving collars on.)
I guess how long and how much effort you want to put into getting Dolly to feel comfortable wearing the sweater (and for what reason) will tell whether she ends up wearing one or not.
