See if the vet can give him an antibody test for rabies instead of another shot. Many cities require rabies shots in order to acquire a dog license and I do not know how this affects this. But more and more people are looking to more holistic methods and rabies shots, as much as they are given now, is starting to get frowned upon. My dogs get theirs every three years. Each year after his rabies shot I have to return serveral times for severe itching and then a round steroids. I feel like he is having a reaction to this medication. I would appreciate any feed back or information to see if any one else is having this type of problem and what are you doing about it. I am considering not giving him this again. I really feel like his exposure is minimal since he is with me at all times, but I also don't want to make a mistake in thinking this way. Thanks
