Sounds like he is just sooo exited to see you all!! Maybe you should try
ignoring him when you first come in, for a few moments. Instead of immediately
doing the "hi baby" deal, just ignore him while you put up your coat, take off
your shoes, ect, give a moment for the excitement to pass, then try a more
calmer acknowledgement of him such as sitting down and allowing him to get into
your lap or something. If you don't make as big a deal over coming home and
seeing him, he may get less exited about it as well thus giving himself a
chance to calm down before interacting. :-)

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Help with my Chihuahua/MinPin mix peeing when I come
home

Everytime my (2 year old but new to us)dog greets me after I've been
out awhile, he leaks a little urine. This problem is getting worse.
He never pees in the house except for this and he is extremly
embarassed. He does the same if my wife is out for a while and then
comes home. It's gotten to the point that he slinks away as I come in
the door because he knows he's going to leak. He's never been
punished for this, at least not by us. Any suggestions?
