On my smaller chis, I find that regular human nail clippers are safer than dog
clippers.

Nina goes for her last set of puppy shots and her rabies shot
tomorrow. (I've already made a mental note to ask the vet what to do
in case Nina has a reaction to the rabies shot, as I read in earlier
posts can happen.) The vet has cut her nails the past two times I had
her there, and I'm sure he'll do so again tomorrow. This is something
I want to take care of from now on. My question is, is there a
particular type of nail trimmers that will prevent cutting into the
quick?
