I dont know how you plan on raising your Chi. I let mine run around the house. Bought him at 5 months and he was my first pet. Now i also have a 10 week old cat and 2 bunnies running around freely. They all get along great and play with each other. I keep their food out 24/7. If i see it getting low i just refill it. That way whenever they get hungry they can go eat. Especially when im not home, it makes it easier so the animals fdont have to wait to eat. Now as far as the housebreaking im unlucky. He still poops all over the house and hav ehad him for a month and a half. I use the puppy pads but he doesnt. I scold him everytime he popps or pees in the wrong spot then bring him to his puppy pad to tell him that is where he is supposed to potty. So if you conquer the housebreaking part, let me know
