The biggest problem I see is the fact that you let him have the run of the
house and free feed. Most puppies when trying to housetrain need to be
restricted to a small area. they also need to be taken out very often. You
can't just turn a puppy loose and expect him to obey. also if you scold him
after the fact he probably wonders what he is being scolded for. since you
have cats and a bunny maybe you can train your pup to use the litter box?

often do I feed?

I dont know how you plan on raising your Chi. I let mine run around
the house. Bought him at 5 months and he was my first pet. Now i also
have a 10 week old cat and 2 bunnies running around freely. They all
get along great and play with each other. I keep their food out 24/7.
If i see it getting low i just refill it. That way whenever they get
hungry they can go eat. Especially when im not home, it makes it
easier so the animals fdont have to wait to eat. Now as far as the
housebreaking im unlucky. He still poops all over the house and hav
ehad him for a month and a half. I use the puppy pads but he doesnt. I
scold him everytime he popps or pees in the wrong spot then bring him
to his puppy pad to tell him that is where he is supposed to potty. So
if you conquer the housebreaking part, let me know

Martin
