I can understand the health code - and it makes sense, but it just bothers me
that Beans can't come in his carrier. I'm probably just a biased Mama though!
As far as figuring out where Beans is, and is not allowed to go, I take him
until I'm told not to do so. I prefer to plead ignorance and ask for
forgivness than to ask for permission!

I work at a grocery store. From what I understand, the main reason
why dogs (or any pet) are not allowed in the store is because it is a health
code violation. The dog could potentially be carrying a disease and/or
contaminate products by using the bathroom in the store. I personally have no
problem if a customer comes in with a small dog in a carrier. However I have
had several customer complaints about stuff like that. I totally agree that
people can be dirtier than animals LOL.

One time, a rather dirty looking man in a wheelchair came in with about *3*
dirty looking matted dogs (samoyed's?). They were big dogs, too. I told my
manager but it turns out that guy used all three dogs as service dogs. They
were so dirty... doesn't make any sense :\ We actually have a guy that comes
in all the time with a dog because he trains seeing eye dog puppies. He's cool
though and is clean, LOL.

I'm always trying to figure out places where I can bring Daisy along. Thanks
to whoever started this thread.
