My mom's Bull Terrier had bad patellas on both legs.  First it was her right
leg, got it operated on, Dr. did a terrible job, so then she was taken to
another vet who did both legs at the same time.  My mom knew the left leg
wasn't good but was trying to wait to cushion the cost.  She later decided
it was better to get it over and done with because at this point she had
found out Zoey has Addisons.  So, my advice would be to fix it as soon as
you can if your vet doesn't think it will get any better which I don't think
it does.  Maybe even get a second opinion.  And if/when you decide to have
the surgery done, ask and search for an actual dog orthopedic surgeon.

PS- Yeah... two bad knees, Addisons, and almost constant UTIs...  that's a
breeding that should *never* be done again!  Can't locate the breeder
anymore :(
