How I named Cocoa.

My hubby is the one naming the dogs, but with Cocoa I wanted to be the
one naming a dog for a change. I wanted to call her something close to
her origins. I thought a proper pre hispanic name was going to be
difficult to fill in forms or to be engraved on a little ID tag. So I
went for something pre hispanic cultures considered of high value,
Cocoa beans... that was a currency at the time and a gift for
emperors. So, thats how I named my little girl after something pre
hispanic cultures highly valued. Additionally, she is black and tan ,
a mix that I would call semi sweet chocolate.

Cheers!

Julia

made you name them that way. I have two Morroka -Hubby named her after
a cat he had when he was a kid and Fiona- named after my grandma that
was her middle name....now your turn........
