As Marsha stated, it could happen but I think your chi would have a playmate. My two can get a bit noisy but not so loud that it could be heard through walls. Puppies are just like toddlers. They want to play and have fun. Your chi has no one to play with during the day. Part of the problem I think is your chi is bored and lonely. Just my opinion though. I'm still a new chi owner.
