I saw the mother and she was 7 lbs. the father was 4.5lbs. I cannot visibly
see her ribs, but I can feel them. I took her to the vet and they put that
her weight was average, but I cannot imagine that being average if the breed
standard is set at 6lbs :( I do hope she doesn't get to 10lbs bc the size of
this breed is what first drew me to chis. I have problems lifting heavy
things do to some problems with my elbow. Hopefully it is just a growth
spurt and not an overweight issue. I've cut back on the petsmart training
treats I give her. I used them to train her to use the potty pads. I'm sure
that was a factor
