I hate drama so I'm going to kick myself for getting involved here, but I think thats really harsh and judgemental. This woman reached out for help. Sometimes not all offers will work out. Maybe she could have specified that she was looking more locally to rehome, but I think she's sad and upset and probably at her wits end. She was honest about her circumstances. Give her a break. I'm reading quite a bit of criticism aimed at her and for my part, I think its unfair.
I'm glad you found Belle a home and I applaud your efforts to be sure she is lovingly cared for. I could have easily taken her to the shelter and been done with it” No offense Jeannie, but I think that you are in the wrong group here. Asyou might have noticed by all the offers to take Belle (and her problems) we careabout our babies. You posted to a world wide group your need to rehome a puppyand rejected all offers. Why did you bother when you where just going to try torelocate her locally or give her to a shelter? Hope you get all those thingsthat need to be done around the house done. Don’t forget to feed thedogs. To the rest ofthe group, I am once again back reading posts. Our move has caused majorinternet problems, so I have missed even more. I just started reading thethread below and maybe I am just tired, no I am tired, but it ticked meoff. Sorry. On a better note, our 2 chi’s (Trinity and Jay) thinkthat the move to our new house is great. They are loving investigatingthe second floor, the garage, the basement and the private backyard. Hopefully, I will be back to the group on a regular basis soon.. Just a note, Iasked my husband and he agreed to drive from Mass. to MD to take Belle. ~Patricia From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of J. I could haveeasily taken her to the shelter and been done with it. But no, I decidedto come here and find her a home. Of course there will always be someonewho to be cynical. If you must know, I more familiar with this area sinceI live here and I'm from here. Also, my weekends are as crazy as my weekdays. My husband and myself are in the military. He just got backfrom being gone for 4 weeks and may be leaving soon for 4 months. Thereare things that must be done around the house now that the weather isbetter. Pets that need to go to the vet for yearly shots, finals to becomplete for college. I didn't think I would have to spell out my lifehere just to find Belle a suitable home. But the goal has beenaccomplished and a home has been found for her. Thanks again.
