Hey,

I was wondering if you could forward this on to rescues you know about. She
is real sweet and my jacka$s father wants to put her down because she is a fear
bitter, but so are most chihuahuas. Please any help you can give me. She is so
sweet and pretty.I have already sent this to 30 or so other rescues and the few
who have responded won't take a fear bitter. I appreciate any help you can give
me.The email I have sent with pictures attached to this message is below.

THank you,
Laura
Good afternoon,

I am hoping you can help me. I know you get thousands of these a day to
help Chihuahuas and mixes so I am sorry to bother you. I have a Chihuahua that
is in need of help. She was found running the streets in Arlington by a woman
and we took her in when the woman was going to take her to the pound. This
little girl is scared and very sweet, but she is a fear bitter. We are working
with her, but my father who along with my mother is fostering her right now
wants to put her down. She is very sweet once she gets to know you and loves
her mom very much. She is good with dogs/cats and potty trained/crate trained.
She also is heartworm negative/has rabies/bordatella/distemper and is fixed.
She is about 5-6 years old and fits in well with the pack. She just needs
time to get to know you and you will have a great little girl. It took her a
couple of days and now she just loves my mother and is so happy to see her and
be around her all the time. I dont want her put down,
but my father is being a jerk and wants to put her down since like a lot
of little dogs when she is scared she will bite. I am attaching a picture of
her please let me know if you can help her and please forward this to other
Chihuahua rescues that might be able to help her. You can call me for further
information 817-343-8551.

Thank you,
Laura

Laura,
Oh wonderful! I'm glad the peke and the Boston were adopted! Makes you feel
good, doesn't it?!
I've got a busy morning, but maybe you can shoot these guys an email about
the poms.
I know there is a big pom rescue in Austin -http://www.ponderapom.com/
Second Chance Poms
-http://www.geocities.com/udxpom/index.html?985405845340
Or maybe the Animal Rescue of Texas group (they offered to take that
injured chihuahua).http://www.animalrescueoftexas.org/
I don't really know of people who are looking for dogs, unfortunately. :(
Everyone I know has a full house. Several of us try to find homes for animals
at work, and nobody is ever interested. :( Maybe one of the other small
breed dog rescues in town can help. I hope so!
But I'm glad the little one-eyed peke girl has been adopted. And Bopeep!
yay!
There's a rescue in Garland that specializes in pits (I remember you had
that pit mix you all are trying to find a home for)...maybe they could help
you? It's K9 Rescue and Referral
athttp://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TX592.html
Click on their sites and just send a mass email and I bet someone bites!
Usually poms are easy to place, aren't they?

Well guess what, the little peke girl got adopted. I got the call last
night and also the Boston you sent me was adopted also. Do you know anyone who
rescues poms. My mother loves poms and we have been sent two poms near us but
she is so overful with 6 dogs and in Arlington she is allowed 4 dogs. They are
so cute I am sending you links if you know anyone.

She said she can foster her for one week. If you can come get her sometime
this weekend she can foster her and I can get her out of jail as soon as the
place emails me back.
