We use the pack training method. When bogie would do that we would growl at him. Then when he quit we would praise him. Works great for him Sheila "Life is what happens when you are busy making plans".

I would suggest that you start by confining her to a small area and giving her access to the puppy pad/paper all day along with just enough space to sleep, eat and drink. Move the food as far away from the pad as possible. As for the biting is she just play biting or just being excited as you said? If so I would follow each episode with a swift no and then put her down ignoring her until she settles down somewhat. Try to keep things as calm as possible.
