I had to talk my mother out of getting one because she does not want dogs in
the house. Sometimes I have no idea what is wrong with her.

A small dog like that does not belong outdoors. And honestly my house does
not smell like dog at all and we have a chi and a rottie. I am totally
against small dogs like that being left outside all the time because of the
horrors I have seen. I realize it is not up to you but maybe you can talk to
your dad more about the small breed like this. Maybe if he is more familiar
with chi's he will change his mind.

Ok so I have a 5 month old reindeer chihuahua and my dad is insisting
that he sleep outside (he doesn't want the house to smell like dog)
But I am really scared that if this happens my puppy can get sick. I
live in el paso tx so the weather is fairly warm... anyone have any
suggestions?
