Perfect age to start training! Begin with the simplest step of a firm "NO!" If
this doesn't help at all, hold him and look him in the eye and say "NO!" If he
still continues after these, then immediately place him in confinement (crate,
ect) for a short period. Make sure it is short enough that he doesn't forget
why he has been confined. If he tries to become agressive (as opposed to just
play biting) then you need to establish an alpha stance. Place him on his back
and hold him gently but firmly till he stops struggling against you. Always use
a stern voice, but not a mean one. You don't want him to fear you, just see
your authority.
I usually have luck with the eye contact and verbal reprimand, but I have had
to "ground" them (confine), lol. Five or ten minutes should be enough time.
Mostly, be consistent. If the pup is allowed to play bite ect when you are in
the mood, but then not allowed to when you are not, it will only confuse him.
If a behavior is ever disallowed, then it should be disallowed at all times.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Tired of being a chew toy

  Hello all,
I have a question. My 10 week old chi Zoe is a MAJOR biter. I am sure
that it because she is teething or just being playful, but it hurts!!
When I take her to bed at night she really goes at me. If I turn my
back on her she will sink her teeth into the back of my head or my
back. Is there anyway I can teach her not to chew on me? She has many
chew toys, but she prefers to chew on me at all times. Thank you so
  much!!
  Melissa
