He should get used to your bird, esp as he gets older and more confident. I
have a brownheaded parrot, Jasper. If she flies down, the chis just come
over to look at her and I run over and scoop her up before they get bitten.
I don't know that she would bite the dogs, but she could really hurt them
... they are just curious about her. Usually with poicephalus parrots (and
lovebirds too), if they are frightened, they try to scare whatever it is
away, and then they'll attack. Our fat cat isn't predatory, but still, I
watch her closely when she's out on her gym ... you never know. He's been
around birds since he was a kitten and isn't interested in the parrots (I'm
down to one right now - my lovebird died at 19 yrs old, and my pionus went
to live at my SILs house because she didn't like moving to the living room
after my son was born - we tried for 6 months, but it made her miserable -
she is a peace and quiet at night kind of bird - we can visit so it's cool.
Jasper is happy in any room).

Betty, what's your Chi's reaction to so many birds? My baby doesn't
know what to make of Beau, my red bellied parrot, who often screeches at him
and who up to the time that I had his wings clipped would "dive bomb" him
too.
