LOL, good advice! I haven't even brought it up, he would have to agree
wholeheartedly, and decide it was HIS idea for me to go along with it. With
something like this, I just throw it out and see what the response is, if
it's like "oh, cute dog, hope someone adopts it" then I would know he wasn't
interested - LOL! But, if I sent the picture and said "oh look at this cute
dog" and he seemed interested without me saying anything about us getting
it, then I would probably persue it ... I definately don't want an uptight
hubby! That is usually how I feel him out to see what he really wants, not
what I think he thinks I WANT. We flip each other pictures of cute animals
all of the time, so it's not an obvious - he lets get this dog.

Careful Shell, when I brought home a third dog (we had two cats and two
chihuahuas and this new one is a Pomeranian-Poodle mix) my husband
asked me very seriously if he should pack his bags because there was no
longer room for him in the house. The Pom-Poo is still with us a year
later but my DH has never really warmed up to him, I know he still
resents my getting him. My youngest daughter and her Chihuahua have
just moved into a mobile home with two friends (2nd year college) and
one cat is moving to my next older daughter's boyfriend's house in July
so maybe he'll finally forgive me. Denise
