CKC is continental kennel club. IT is one of the dog registries. There is a huge divide among breeders as to which is better, AKC or CKC (or even a few of the others). I personally prefer AKC, but KY in general is pretty much a CKC state, Being CKC will make it much easier for you to sell him. Which personally makes no sense to me since even if he was not CKC, he could be registered CKC by new owners, but nonetheless, statistically, being CKC will help you sell him here in KY.
