LOL, you know, those pictures were of them when they were about a year old, and they would play fight everywhere and not care where they were going. In those pictures they were running over ME to play fight over and over again, so I just got the camera and waited for them to run over me one more time :o). Now they're a little more civilized and don't play fight in our laps and faces so much. If you lay on the floor though, you are still fair game. Shell

Hi Jan,
This is going to sound dumb, but are you sure they're fighting? Chi's
do this play fighting thing that alarms most new owners and sometimes you
about think your dogs are going to kill each other when they're playing.
Let's see if I can describe it again - LOL! They go wraaa wraaa wraaa and
fence with their fangs a little and then run around the house like crazy and
then wraaaa wraaa wraaa some more and will do more of the open mouth thing
and make noises like they are killing each other (growling, moaning, yelping
and carrying on) even though it's just open mouths almost touching each
other. Then they run around taking turns chasing each other again. Repeat
over and over until they get tired of it.
A playing dog does the butt up in the air and front legs on the ground
and then runs around.
An aggressive dog (chi at least) will arch their tail over their back
and strut over stiffly and kind of push the other dog around. Watch when
they think someone is walking by on the street, but not coming up to your
door - they stand up straight, and that tail goes up over the back and is
arched and they get stiff.
If I can find the picture of the play fighting, I'll attach it.
