We give that to our older Rottie because she has the beginnings of arthritis
in her hips. It really seems to help her.

My chihuahua and pom-poo have both had luxating patella surgery and 
my vet has me giving them glucosamine condroitin each day. I don't 
know if it will help already advanced conditions, but it is supposed 
to help mine from developing the arthritis in the first place. Dee
