It can cause cancer, but then again, seems so many things can. Not neutering, in and of itself, is a cancer risk. Still, we keep intact dogs. Since an undecended testicle can not be shown and should not be bred, there really is no reason to NOT neuter. Pepper had one undecended testicle and he was neutered, but only because the testicle was pushing on his stomach cavity preventing weight gain. In fact, it was starting to actually attach to some of his insides. He did fine with the surgery, although it is more invasive than a regular neuter. Marsha

We were told that our Dog has Inverted Testicles and we should have in fixed! Does anyone have information on this condition? Can it cause Cancer or other problems down the road? He is 6 years old now and a very good Dog. He doesn't give us any problems and now this comes up. He looked so sad when he left the Vet today, almost like he knew what we were talking about when the Doctor was giving us the results of his Physical.
